In brief...
The VALUE-AGEING project aims to foster co-operation between non-commercial and commercial entities on a joint research project about the incorporation of fundamental values of the EU in Information-Communication Technology (ICT) for ageing.
Our role
VUB is responsible for carrying out a comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and intersectoral analysis of the main ICT-developments impacting on freedom and autonomy of older citizens. The research work on autonomy involved a dialogue between legal practice and care in practice studies delving on three main themes, older citizens in situations of dependency, people with dementia, and assistive robotics.
