In brief...
The TeNDER project aims to create an integrated care ecosystem to assist people with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and cardiovascular comorbidities. It will achieve this through the use of affect-based micro-tools that will recognise a person’s mood, adapt the system’s probes to his/her needs and match them with clinical and clerical patient information. Interactive communication and social services will further strengthen elderly support. The project will help to increase the quality of life of people suffering from these diseases.
Our role
VUB-HALL leads WP1 ”Fundamental rights, ethical and legal implications and assessment”. This WP involves conducting an impact assessment to specify key requirements relating to fundamental rights, data protection and privacy issues, as well as social and functional acceptance of ICT solutions for integrated care at the EU level.
