The CYMEDSEC project aims to create new cybersecurity standards and develop solutions for industry and regulatory authorities. The overall aim is to promote innovation and facilitate approval through an improved regulatory process in the EU healthcare sector.
Our role
VUB-HALL leads WP2 “Legal, Ethical, Societal, and Privacy (LESoP) requirements”, ensuring CYMEDSEC’s compliance with LESoP frameworks. In line with the objectives of WP2, VUB-HALL identifies and analyses requirements including but not limited to data protection, cybersecurity, and medical device regulations, ethical standards, and societal considerations. Moreover, VUB-HALL continuously monitors and assesses the impact of CYMEDSEC technologies based on LESoP requirements.
