We’re thrilled to share that our latest publication, "Strengthening the MDCG Guidance on Cybersecurity for Medical Devices: A Legal Approach," has been published by Springer Nature as part of the book "Cybersecurity. EICC 2025. Communications in Computer and Information Science".
Co-authors Oğuzhan Yeşiltuna, Ruoxin Su, Ashwinee Kumar, and Prof. Paul Quinn adopt a legal approach and provide recommendations regarding legal clarity, currency, and consistency of MDCG 2019-16, considering the evolving EU legal framework. The research is conducted as part of the CYMEDSEC project and contributed by Health & Ageing Law Lab (HALL), and was also presented by Oğuzhan Yeşiltuna at the Medical Device Security and Privacy – MedSec track of the European Interdisciplinary Cybersecurity Conference (EICC) 2025 held in Rennes.
