Anastasiya Kiseleva presented at the conference "Confidentiality in a digital world - a contradiction in terms?"

On May 05, 2023, Anastasiya Kiseleva presented at the conference "Confidentiality in a digital world - a contradiction in terms?" held by the Institute for Digital Law Trier (IRDT) at the University of Trier. She spoke about transparency (in the GDPR and the AI Act) in comparison to confidentiality, and explored if the two concepts can co-exist, and if so, under what conditions.

The conference was organized by  JProf Dr Lea Katharina Kumkar (University of Trier) and Prof Dr Wiebke Voß (University of Würzburg) with the aim to fathom the role of law in ensuring, contriving, and not least balancing confidentiality against the ever-present trend towards transparency.
